How to block an IP address

If someone is abusing your website, such as sending spam through your forms, you can block their IP address.

cPanel › Security › IP Blocker

1. Log in to cPanel.
2. In the Security section, click IP Blocker.
3. Enter the IP address, a range, or a domain name in IP Address or Domain.
4. Click Add.

To unblock an address later, find it in the list of blocked IP addresses on the same page and click Delete.

Be careful not to block your own IP address, or you’ll lock yourself out of your website.
