How to force your website to use HTTPS

Once your SSL certificate is active, make sure everyone uses the secure version of your site.

cPanel › Domains › Domains

1. Log in to cPanel.
2. In the Domains section, click Domains.
3. Find your domain in the list and switch on Force HTTPS Redirect.

WordPress sites

In WordPress, go to Settings › General and make sure both the WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) start with https://.

If a page still shows a warning instead of the padlock, it’s usually loading an image or file over http://. Update that link to https://.
