ModSecurity is a web application firewall. It blocks many common attacks before they reach your website, so keep it turned on.
cPanel › Security › ModSecurity
- Log in to cPanel.
- In the Security section, click ModSecurity.
- Use the switch next to each domain to turn protection On or Off.
Sometimes ModSecurity blocks something legitimate, like saving a page in your website’s editor. Rather than turning it off, open a support ticket with the page address and the time it happened, and we’ll adjust the rule for you.
If you turn it off to test something, turn it back on straight away.
