What's your website for?
This helps us suggest the right address and plan. Nothing is final yet.
A bakery, a church and a photographer each need slightly different things. Your answer only changes our suggestions. You can still pick anything you like.
How would you like to build it?
There's no wrong answer. All three come with the same hosting, and you can change your mind later.
Most people starting out pick the easy way. If it turns out you want WordPress or our help later, the same hosting works for all three.
Choose your web address
Your web address is called a domain. It's what people type to find you, like yourbusiness.com. You keep it as long as you renew it once a year.
- Short and easy to spell. Say it out loud. Would someone get it right the first time?
- Skip hyphens and numbers. People forget them.
- .com is what most people expect. .org is common for nonprofits and groups.
- Taken? Try adding your town or what you do, like bakery or repair.
You keep it where it is. After you order, you change one setting where you bought it (called the nameservers) to:
dns1.greaterlink.net dns2.greaterlink.net
That tells the internet your website now lives with us. If that sounds confusing, call us and we'll walk you through it or do it with you. It's a 2-minute job.

Hosting is the computer that keeps your website online 24/7 so people can visit it anytime. We've marked the one we'd pick for you.
Every plan except Basic and Managed Single can hold more than one website. If yours has room, you might not need a new plan. Call (800) 245-6301 and we'll check and set it up on the plan you already have.
