How to redirect a domain or page

cPanel › Domains › Redirects

1. Log in to cPanel.
2. In the Domains section, click Redirects.
3. Choose the Type: Permanent (301) for a lasting change (best for search engines) or Temporary (302) for a short-term one.
4. Choose the domain, and in the box after it type the page to redirect, or leave it empty to redirect the whole domain.
5. In Redirects to, enter the full new address, including https://.
6. Choose how to treat www.. Redirect with or without www. suits most sites.
7. Click Add.

Redirects can clash with a WordPress site’s own settings. If a page stops loading after adding a redirect, remove it and open a support ticket.

Can’t find it? Type the tool’s name into the search box at the top of cPanel.
