How to create a subdomain

A subdomain is an extra section of your website with its own address, such as shop.yourbusiness.com. It can hold a completely separate site.

cPanel › Domains › Domains

1. Log in to cPanel.
2. In the Domains section, click Domains.
3. Click Create A New Domain.
4. Type the full subdomain, for example shop.yourbusiness.com.
5. Leave Share document root unticked so the subdomain gets its own folder.
6. Click Submit.
